A former student of mine, Jennifer Green, asked me if I would take pictures at her wedding. I don't usually do people pictures, so this was definitely a challenge for me! I'm really happy with the soft texture of this one, and its vibrant colors. Jennifer looks pretty gorgeous too! :)

I like this one because it has great colors. AND I'm grateful for my 55-300. That means I didn't have to be anywhere near them when I took their picture. Birds kinda scare me.

Day 3: String Theory?

Last night, Matt and I were watching "How Small is the Universe" and trying to understand what they were saying about string theory. Wow. We really had no idea what was going on. But as I was looking for inspiration for today's picture, I gravitated toward... strings. Sort of.

Power lines in Palmer Park. I'm always amazed at the juxtaposition between the nature of this park, and the city it sits in the middle of.

Day 1: Details

In the description for this blog, I said that all the photos were from my new Nikon, but I haven't actually gotten the software loaded yet, so this one is from my Canon Powershot Sx20. I took this one on a hike in Breckenridge, CO on the Peaks Trail. The stream under the snow found an opening here... loved the gurgling brook underfoot.
