Hiatus...

I've fallen a few days behind as I'm preparing to go on a rafting trip for Spring Break. But don't worry, when I get back next weekend, I'll be sure to catch up!

Day 77: Peace

I got this print, which says "Peace," at a Children's School in Beijing in 2000. I keep it hung in my classroom to remind myself that there are teachers and students all over the world, endeavoring to make this a better place for everyone. This year, it happens to be hanging kiddie-corner from the American flag, which you can see in the reflection of the print.

Day 76: My Mom

My Momma!!!

This is how we spend our weekends... :)

Day 75: Section 16 Bridge

Great hike on Sunday with my Momma. Her first time on Section 16. We had sun and snow, clouds and snow, sun and heat, and plenty of awesome shadows...

Day 74: The Moon, sans the comet...

Still haven't seen the comet, but the moon's not half bad. :)

Day 70: New Lens

Playing with my new wide angle lens attachment at GOG. Turns out, when you go at 8 am, there are only two other people there. Any other time of day it's crawling with people!!!

Day 69: Daylight's Saving Sunrise

When I woke up this morning it was still dark out. I briefly considered getting up to catch the sunrise from Palmer Park, but convinced myself I'd fall back asleep. Twenty minutes later, still awake, I considered it again, but thought I'd be too late. Two minutes later I was up and out the door. I got to the mesa at PP about 30 seconds before the pink started cascading over the peak. Nice way to start the day, and the new season of light.
